"Just a very quick note to say how much we enjoyed our weekend. We were after a get-away-from-it-all break where we could just sit and read our books and open a bottle of red, and we most definitely found it. What I perhaps didn't expect was the absolutely fantastic accommodation and location. Everything in the cottage was of a superbly high spec, and I was bowled over by all of it. And the setting and outlook was beyond compare. I have been lucky enough to holiday in Australia, the US and elsewhere, and I have seen some marvellous views and sights there and in other places, but I can truly say that the view from your place is just stunning. We both really enjoyed the Orchard Barn, and were able to really relax after a very hectic year. The Barn was fantastic, what care you have taken in its refurbishment! It really was one of the most comfortable and well-appointed self-catering holiday homes we have had, and we have done a lot of self-catering holidays over the years. We loved the views and the peace of the place, the swifts and swallows screeching overhead in the evenings when we were sitting outside, the animals, particularly, Solomon, who became a real friend. "We absolutely loved Tractor Barn and it exceeded our expectations - it absolutely deserves your 5*Gold award! The sun terrace is a really nice touch and gave us a lovely place to have meals and enjoy the weather - all in privacy. The extra terrace and garden came in handy for BBQs and the children enjoyed kicking a ball on the grass. The bathrooms and kitchen are exquisite and so well appointed - you've clearly used the best materials and it shows. Great to meet the flatcoats and Fred and of course the chickens and ducks that went down so well with the children!  We want to come back again next year...actually, we don't want to leave!"
