It is a place to meet, whether for a drink or to eat, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. There are open log fires, thick stone walls and slate floors inside, and outside there is a large and recently extended garden which provides marvellous views of the moor. Children welcome in the dining areas\u00a0 and the garden and friendly dogs are welcome.

Arundell Arms, Lifton – belongs to The Arundell Arms Hotel in Lifton was formerly the old police station and Court and is a five minute drive down the road from us in Lifton village. Its a favourite with the locals and serves wholesome tasty pub grub with a good selection of local ales. It has a regularly changing Specials Board as well as a children’s menu and well behaved dogs are welcome.

The Royal Inn, Horsebridge\u00a0– The 15th Century Royal Inn is located on the Tamar Trail in the beautiful Tamar valley just over the border from Cornwall. The Inn was once a nunnery and stands near the ancient Horsebridge, which was built over the River Tamar in 1437 by French Benedictine monks. The Royal Inn offers convivial surroundings with beamed ceilings and open log fires, ample parking and sheltered outdoor seating areas. A selection of real ales, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks are served. The restaurant is open for lunches and evening meals and offers traditional home-cooked cuisine prepared using local sourced produce.

The Springer Spaniel, Treburley, Launceston\u00a0– The Springer Spaniel, which dates back to the 18th century, is set in beautiful countryside in the pretty hamlet of Treburley. The pub is renowned for its fine food and ales, with The Springer Spaniel serving an extensive menu of fresh, local, seasonal produce sourced from local farmers and has received numerous awards. The property has been acquired by Masterchef winner Anton Piotrowski. Dogs welcome in the bar and we strongly recommend you call ahead to book.<\/p>\n

The Eliot Arms, Tregadillet, Launceston\u00a0– Creeper-covered with a series of small rooms and an\u00a0interesting collection including 72 antique clocks, 700 snuff boxes, hundreds of horsebrasses, barometers, old prints etc.,\u00a0this is an interesting local pub with\u00a0well kept St Austell Tribute, Wadworths 6X and good value\/generous pub food.
